About the facility 


Baxter Wing 5 is the Orthopaedic Unit at University Hospital Geelong. We are a 32 bed unit with state of the art equipment and facilities, admitting both trauma and elective patients from around Geelong and the Western Districts


About the role 


Are you looking for a position within a highly skilled, professional, friendly team who take pride in providing a high quality service? Then look no further. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse Grade 2 to become part of our busy team on Baxter Wing 5. We currently have a night duty position available working every Thursday and Friday night and every second Saturday.


To be considered for this role it is essential that you have:



  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Be able to correctly assess possible problems and take actions to solve them

  • Able to build and maintain the best possible relationships with patients and their families and carers
