My client is a locally owned construction company that has been servicing the community for over 30 years.
YOUR NEW ROLE
As the Administration Officer-Receptionist for this team you will integral part in the smooth and efficient running of the office, by providing high quality clerical support to the all staff covering tasks such as
- Process incoming insurance claims/projects
- Contact clients/representatives and arrange suitable time for a Building Consultant/Estimator to attend
- Diary Management for all staff including Builders
- Manage filing/records systems
- Follow-up and assist other staff in meeting client KPIs (in particular preparation/ submission of reports/quotations)
- Produce/type documents and correspondence (assessors’ reports, quotations, invoices, etc.) using knowledge of standard formats
- Proof-reading of reports/quotations
- Preparation of Contracts
- Preparation/submission/processing of Domestic Building Insurance
- Contract Management
- Operate telephone/intercom system, telephone answering machine, facsimile machine, photocopier, guillotine, micro/personal computer, printing devices attached to personal computer, Dictaphone equipment, adding machines, eftpos machine and calculator
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
As the ideal candidate, you will have demonstrated high level administration experience as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong finance skills and a proven ability to organise and prioritise. You will be a team player and be motivated to go above and beyond showing exceptional initiative and a proactive demeanour. Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
