About your new role:
Working as an energetic and highly organised Complaints Officer you will be working for an independent statutory agency who support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians. You will work as part of a small team to provide administrative assistance to support the business management of the Complaints and National Internal Review teams. Located in Geelong and/or Corio you will work collaboratively with a great team in order to support participants and their families ensuring that they are informed and have access to the full range of information regarding the agency.
Please note that all successful candidates must hold Permanent Residency and will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check along with appropriate Working with Children check.
Duties:
- High level of assistance with reporting and data entry requirements
- Assist with the recruitment process within the Complaints team and assist with additional onboarding requirements
- Work under the direction to provide administrative support within the Business Management team.
- Provide information and support to external and internal stakeholders
- Manage the Complaints register with documented interactions
- Scheduling and diary management, travel bookings as well as additional data entry responsibilities
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in Reception, Customer Service and/or Administrative based roles
- Experience in the community, allied health and/or the disability sector
- An ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner
- Confidence in building relationships with and working with a wide range of different people
- Have adaptable and strong communication skills both verbal and written
- An ability to work across teams and adapt quickly to a changing environment
- A can do attitude and high attention to detail
- Experience working in State or Federal government would also be highly regarded
