Deakin University and the Geelong Cats proudly present ‘Stepping out, breaking through: choices and challenges in education’.
Bringing together teachers, community workers and students, theStepping out, breaking through conference offers a unique opportunity to:
- hear a range of perspectives on some of the barriers and solutions to achieving positive educational outcomes for young people
- share information
- showcase best practice
- develop your professional networks.
Over two days, sessions in a variety of formats will build a shared understanding of the personal, social, institutional and community issues that impact on educational engagement by students from diverse backgrounds.
Join the conversation and:
- learn with and from young people
- investigate issues, generate solutions and break down the barriers
- review past learnings, current realities and future directions in improving educational outcomes for young people.
